we are
Welcome to our homestead! We are a small scale family farm located in Central Oregon where we raise egg laying chickens and grow vegetables on a .5acre using organic, no till methods. Growing, gathering, hunting, and preserving is our way of life and we love to share this with the community. At our farm, the chickens provide the best compost which sets our foundation to grow quality, nutrient dense vegetables. Spent crops are then returned to the flock, resulting in rich and flavorful eggs. This symbiotic relationship results in very little waste, happy soil, and spoiled chickens.

The reason…
Our homestead is a reflection of grit, faith, quality living, light in the dark, family, hard work, and love for one another. We didn’t get here the easy way and that’s what makes it worth it. So why would we keep doing this?
Well, we believe in helping one another. We believe in a chemical free and low tox life. We believe that we were put here with the purpose of nourishing your whole self by the work we put in with our own hands. We are here to share a simple way of living that can’t be bought, only given.
What does this mean to you? Our guarantee to you is that your food is grown organically and chemical free. Our soil is amended with our very own chicken manure, feeding the life beneath the dirt. The seeds we sow and crops we tend are organic and never sprayed. Our flock of chickens have the highest quality of life and treated like the integral puzzle piece that they are.
This is our commitment to you and your family. If we wouldn’t feed it to our children, we wouldn’t feed it to you.
